How do I know if I have a class at Sabin-Schellenberg?
Your schedule will be provided for you at your home high school and will indicate the room numbers for each class. If the letters SAB (Sabin) or SCH (Schellenberg) appear on your schedule next to a class, that class will be held on that campus. To get to the correct campus for your SSC class, you will take a bus from your home high school. The bus will be labeled with SAB or SCH to denote which Sabin-Schellenberg campus it will take students to. To access Agriculture Classes held at the LL (Land Lab), ride the bus to SABIN where you will board a shuttle.
How do I get to SSC from my high school?
Transportation is provided by district buses. There will be buses lined up at your home high school at the beginning of each period. Buses are clearly marked with the letters SAB (Sabin), SCH (Schellenberg), or SAB Land Lab (Sabin Land Lab) that appear on your class schedule. Be sure to board the correct bus to get you to the campus where your class is located. It is important that you do not delay in getting from your previous class to the bus as it will leave as soon as the bell for the class to start rings. When you arrive at SSC there will be staff who will greet the bus and guide you to your classroom. To return to your home high school after your class, buses will be lined up at your SSC campus. When the bell rings you have 3 minutes to board the bus. Buses do not wait. If you miss your return bus to your high school, report to the SSC office on campus, where you will remain until the end of the next period.

Can I drive to SSC?
Sabin Schellenberg Parking Policy
The North Clackamas School District has worked hard to provide transportation to and from Sabin Schellenberg from every school at every period of the day, driving to and parking at our campus is a privilege. Parking permits are available ONLY for seniors attending SSC, in limited cases passes are provided to juniors subject to approval from a campus Administrator. If you are a senior and are applying for a driving/parking permit, the process is as follows on the tab below.
Once a permit is issued, students must follow the 8 Rules of Parking listed below
The 8 Rules of Parking at SSC
-
Students may park only in the areas designated as student parking on the SSC campuses. There will be dates when the district has meetings during school at the Schellenberg campus and parking will not be available. A message will be sent to families ahead of these dates.
-
The driving/parking permit sticker is to be affixed to the driver side front window in the lower corner.
-
Students are to be in class on time when the bell rings. Frequent tardiness could lead to permit revocation.
-
Students driving their vehicle in an unsafe manner risk losing the permit, as well as other consequences.
-
Students drive and park on the SSC campuses at their own risk. The school district is not liable for damage to vehicles while parked at SSC campuses.
-
SSC instructors reserve the right to request to administration the revocation of a student's parking permit due to tardiness, absences, and/or classroom behavior.
-
In the event that the school must be evacuated, students must leave their vehicles on the SSC campus and leave the campus on district buses.
-
Violation of these rules will result in three warning notices and then students will be referred to the SSC administrators
Student Parking at SSC
TO OBTAIN A PERMIT ALL CURRENT AND PREVIOUS FEES MUST BE PAID
Parking permits are available ONLY for seniors attending SSC, in limited cases passes are provided to juniors subject to approval from a campus Administrator. If you are a senior and are applying for a driving/parking permit, the process is as follows:
- Pick up an application at Sabin or Schellenberg campus main office
- Complete and turn in your application (be sure you get all initials and signatures required) to the Sabin-Schellenberg Bookkeeper (bring a copy of your driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.)
- There will be dates when the district has meetings during school at the Schellenberg campus and parking will not be available. A message will be sent to families ahead of these dates.
- The fee for a driving/parking permit is $50 for the school year. The fee can be paid by cash, credit card, or check made payable to SSC when you turn in your application. Students will receive a receipt for payment.
- Due to Johnson Rd construction taking place Fall 2025. For the 2025-26 school year will require students driving to the Schellenberg (south) to park in the lower lot behind the building.
- The SSC Bookkeeper will review your application, and issue your Parking Permit.
- Your Parking Permit is to be displayed on the lower left-hand corner of your windshield (just above your steering-wheel).
- Any vehicle that does not display a current SSC parking permit in the window by September 29, 2025 will be in violation of the parking/driving policy. Upon the third citation of a violation students will be referred to school administration and parking privileges may be reconsidered.
- You are encouraged to purchase a permit ASAP if you plan on driving to SSC this school year, because permits may be limited.
- The SSC bookkeeper has scheduled times on each campus throughout the year.
- At Sabin-Schellenberg we work hard to be good neighbors, parking in the neighborhood is not advised and can impact our relationships with neighbors. Students parking in the neighborhood may be subject to fines from the county.
Student Parking at the Land Lab
Land Lab Parking Guidelines
There are only 10 student parking spaces available. Students will be allowed to apply for a parking permit in this order of priority:
- Student Land Lab Employees
- FFA Officers and committee chairs
- Seniors in the advanced level course (including Animal Science 3)
Those who park on the land lab will need to:
1. Drive slow
2. Park only in your assigned parking space
Are there clubs or activities I can join at SSC?
Yes. SSC offers many Student Leadership Opportunities. Activity buses run on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 23, 2025. Buses will leave the school promptly at designated departure times. Student should be outside and ready to board 2-3 minutes in advance of the departure time.
For safety reasons, any student riding the activity bus will be required to show their student ID or show their StudentVue from Synergy on their phone when boarding.
