About Sabin-Schellenberg Center
Sabin-Schellenberg Center - Where students learn excellence through application.
For over 50 years, the Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center has provided opportunities to the students of North Clackamas School District to explore career-related electives. The Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center opened in 1967 as the Owen Sabin Occupational Skills Center; offering three programs to junior and senior students. Presently 3,500 students in grades 9-12 attend classes from farm to fork – working with tire irons and flat irons at one of our three campuses.
A significant component of the North Clackamas high school experience is the opportunity for all students to explore career and technical education at Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center. We offer numerous elective classes in 18 different career fields as well as a teen parent program. Many of our programs have college articulation allowing students to earn dual high school and college credit (at area community colleges). By taking career-related electives, students learn the skills, knowledge, and workplace behaviors they will need post-high school as they continue their education and when entering the workforce.
